tracy asked:

I have bites, that I have noticed come in about 3s on my leg and back, and 1 on each of my shines, 1 on my toe, and 2 behind my knee. They are red and raised and itch so badly I can’t sleep! Are they bed bugs or fleas or something else? And if they are fleas are they still on me since I am human or do they bite and jump off again?

Sounds like fleas. Bed bug bites aren’t typically raised like flea bites are, and flea bites are painfully itchy. You’ll want to wash your sheets anyway, and maybe buy a home flea spray to spray your furniture and bed with. If you have pets, treat them for fleas. Treat any areas with spray where fleas could be hiding at.

yup, you have bed bugs – those three bites are often called ‘breakfast, lunch and dinner’.

Could even be carpet mites! Poor you!

Wash all your bedding, give your mattress and carpets a really good hoovering and de-flea all your pets….

Calamine lotion should take the itch out of the bites.

    Good luck!
